Chris Moore
Senior Counsel
Chris has practiced exclusively in probate matters for the entirety of his legal career, with a focus on contested conservatorship, trust and estates, and financial elder abuse litigation. Chris has independently handled dozens of probate litigation cases from start to finish, navigating complex issues such as capacity, property rights, and breach of fiduciary duty. Chris enjoys finding creative solutions to disputes to benefit his clients. Chris has trial and mediation experience, and has successfully resolved a broad variety of cases.
Chris is especially passionate about conservatorships, and has represented persons on all sides of the conservatorship process, including both lay and professional conservators, concerned family members, and proposed conservatees via court appointment, and understands the unique issues and challenges in these cases from every perspective.
Chris was born in Maryland (Go Terrapins and Orioles!) but has lived in Contra Costa County since 1989 and considers it home. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two active and curious daughters. Courtesy of his daughters, Chris is an accomplished reader of porcine tales and a budding expert on Disney Princesses, but has a lamentable record at board games.
