Michael has handled cases in a diverse set of practice areas from start to finish. Michael’s practice areas focus on trusts and estate litigation, elder law, conservatorships, and civil litigation.  He has experience and familiarity with all phases of litigation including pre-trial investigation, discovery, expert discovery, summary judgment, ADR, trial, and post-trial law and motion.

Michael has successfully obtained trial judgments for millions of dollars in monetary damages in trust litigation matters, successfully defended high value trust contests at trial, negotiated favorable settlements in private mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, and he has prevailed in multiple motions for summary judgment/adjudication and other dispositive motions.  Michael has been recognized in California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2016-2020, a distinction given to less than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state.
