On April 16, 2025, in Department 16 of the Contra Costa County Superior Court, the Hon. Benjamin T. Reyes II, presiding, the Demiris Law Firm, P.C. prevailed in a restraining order trial, resulting in the vindication of an innocent lady falsely accused of harassment by a felony convicted elder abuser, Khatul Habibi aka "KT" or "Katie" Habibi.

Litigation partners, Konstantine A. Demiris, Esq., and Michael A. Schreiber, Esq. appeared on behalf of the falsely accused Respondent.   Christina Weed and Diana Lopez, represented a felon, Khatul Habibi, as Petitioner.  Habibi admitted to obtaining a blue tesla 3 from a more than 80 year old impaired man, who the Respondent was trying to protect from Habibi.

At trial it was admitted on cross examination that Respondent’s twin sister was biased and was funding Habibi’s lawsuit against the innocent and falsely accused Respondent.

Habibi admitted Respondent did nothing violent to her, that she suffered zero actual physical harm and that she never witnessed any violence, nor had any interaction with the falsely accused for over a year.

The court dutifully followed the law and denied the frivolous restraining order request.
